About Us
The Foundation for Terrebonne General Medical Center is the philanthropic arm of our medical facility. Funds generated by the support of generous donors and sponsors have allowed many new and innovative healthcare programs to come to fruition in our community. The Foundation helped the Community Sports Institute to better protect young athletes in our local schools. The Foundation made it possible for TGMC to conduct the healthcare portion of the Sudden Impact Program to take place, warning over 1400 local sophomores of the dangers of distracted driving (texting, DWI, etc.). The Foundation also helps to fund programs such as Diabetes Education, Fall Prevention videos, TGMC Blood Bank, etc. Your support and attendance at fund-raising events will help support the continuation of existing healthcare programs and encourage the start of new programs designed to enhance the quality of life for our citizens.
